Normally in May, people are thinking about losing weight and eating healthy; however, right now in Denver, it is cold. It just snowed a couple of days ago and summer hasn't arrived here. I decided to make soup, Split Pea! If you are a meat lover, I would add bacon. The thickness of your soup is to your liking and the ingredients are yours as well. Most soups are made with a flour thickener, but to make it gluten free, add corn starch. No recipe in this post.
